"Since our decision to move American Drill Bushing Company from Commerce, California to Valdosta, Georgia was made in 2003, the people with the Valdosta Lowndes County Industrial Authority have been unbelievably helpful. They have assisted us in every way imaginable. They have advised on getting things done from a personal and family standpoint. The Industrial Authority made sure utility companies scheduled emergency crews to install DSL lines. They assisted us with regulatory and professional financial matters, community involvement, obtaining Georgia One Grant Funds, etc.
The Industrial Authority’s assistance began well before our move took place, by arranging for pre-employment training by Georgia Quick Start. The Authority has assisted us along every step of the way; before, during and after the move; continuing through to the present time.
The Valdosta Lowndes County Industrial Authority’s assistance has been invaluable in achieving our current high level of success. The Authority is and will continue to be a huge benefit to the area in the quest to convince high-level employers to relocate to and remain in the Valdosta region."
